Operate with the Unified-E App Client
The "Unified-E App Client" application is to be installed on the operator device and hosts the HMI operating apps.
This application is available for three platforms:
- Windows Application:
If the operating device is a Windows PC, then the Unified-E App Client should be installed, which can be downloaded here. - iOS App:
The "Unified-E" app as a client application for the iPhone or iPad is available in the App Store. Further details of the app are described in the App Store. - Android App:
The "Unified-E" app for Android operating devices is available in the Play Store. Further details of the app are described in the Google Play.

One operator device, multiple operator apps
To start operating, the app package generated by the App Designer must be installed in the Unified-E App Client. The Unified-E App Client allows the installation of multiple operator apps. This way, for example, the operator apps of different plants can be monitored via a single smartphone.
The Unified-E App Client supports both direct communication with endpoints and gateway communication, where endpoint communication runs through the server (Unified-E App Manager). More about the types of communication can be found here.
Optimized for touch input
Even on the Windows platform, numerical or text inputs can be operated with an integrated soft keyboard. Depending on the application, the full-screen or window mode can be selected.
