This application serves as a runtime and must be installed on the operator device, such as a HMI Windows panel, HMI Android panel, tablet, or smartphone. This registers the configured HMI visualization as an operator app, enabling control and monitoring of the system.
The Unified-E Client application must be installed on the operator device and runs the installed HMI visualizations configured in the Unified-E App Designer.
This application is available for three platforms:
To start operating, the app package generated by the Unified-E App Designer must be installed in the Unified-E Client. The Unified-E Client allows the installation of multiple operator apps. This way, for example, the operator apps of different plants can be monitored via a single smartphone.
The Unified-E Client supports both direct communication with endpoints and gateway communication, where endpoint communication runs through the server (Unified-E App Manager). More about the types of communication can be found here.
Even on the Windows platform, numerical or text inputs can be operated with an integrated soft keyboard. Depending on the application, the full-screen or window mode can be selected.
