Stationary HMI for Machine Control and Plant Operation

Supports Android and Windows Panels

Stationary HMI Visualizations for Machine Control with Unified-E

A stationary HMI is the central interface for operating and monitoring machines and plants. Unified-E offers powerful and flexible HMI software that can be used on both Windows panel PCs and cost-effective Android HMI panels.

Flexibility in PLC Communication

Unified-E supports both direct PLC communication and a gateway-based architecture, where the operating device indirectly accesses the endpoints via the Unified-E App Manager as a server and reads data points, i.e., tag variables from the controller.
While the HMI can communicate directly with the PLC via OPC UA, Modbus, S7, or Allen Bradley, the gateway option enables central management and extended communication drivers such as SQL and HTTP adapters, ideal for distributed systems.

Windows & Android HMI Panels – From Premium to Cost-Effective

Unified-E runs on powerful Windows panel PCs and supports cost-effective Android HMI panels, which are increasingly being used in industrial applications. While Windows panels offer maximum computing power, Android panels enable cost-effective machine control and visualization. Contact us for suitable panel or hardware suppliers.

Stand-Alone or with Server for Long-Term Recording & Alarm Messages

Unified-E can be operated independently on a panel PC or Android HMI panel or combined with a central server. If long-term recordings, alarm logs, or user tracking are required, the Unified-E App Manager as a server ensures central storage of messages and data – even if the operating station is turned off.
In direct communication without a server, the data is stored directly on the operating device as long as the Unified-E Client application is active.

Intuitive HMI Creation & Configuration

The creation of HMI visualizations is done easily via drag & drop with the Unified-E App Designer. Integrated functions such as charts, trend logging, progress displays, and recipe management facilitate development. In addition, seamless integration with external systems such as SQL databases and JSON APIs is possible.

Transparent Licensing – with Lifetime Updates

Unified-E is offered as a fixed-price license per operating device – without subscription compulsion. In addition, you receive unlimited update support for the HMI software, so you can permanently benefit from improvements and new features.
